I’ve had my bike nicked, so if anyone knows of a decent folding bike with gears going for £100 or so, please get in touch urgently. TIp: do not lock a bike anywhere within easy sight of a London tube station. (Especially not in their CCTV-surveyed bike parks)

Fab brief trip delivering my Venice Beach print for the AOI Images exhibition. Acquired Huxley’s Complete Etchings of Goya and these battered wee gems, from Abram’s artist aunt Jane’s flat (who sadly died recently, and whose lovely paintings I sadly have no examples of, fate having decreed that none of our cameras worked). Look what you can do with three coathangers, some scraps of cloth, a shoepolish tin and a bottle cap. When you trundle Red Drummer across the floor he bangs on the tin! I was enchanted.

BP Portrait Awards a pleasure as always. Eg this tiny painting of Tomas Georgeson’s dad, and Venus as a Boy by Wen Wu, which is enormous.
