Comment on Watteau
Hi Jan, I’ve been to see the Watteau drawings at the RA. Beautiful, I prefer them to the paintings - more intimate and immediate. I used them in my talk to the art students at Lichfield (in exchange for use of their gallery for my “Focussed”). I said that the drawings were of people un-posed and unaware - that Watteau got the idea from me…. I like your blog - you seem to be an accomplished computer user. love, June
