Although Hockney is one of my heroes, I wish I could paint like his friend RB Kitaj. Almost every mark Kitaj made was beautiful.

Anyway. I never planned to put recipes in blog, but this from nice Gujerati lady in laundrette is too fab to omit. I’ve wanted a recipe for this ever since tasting Bharat’s mother’s.

FABULOUS GUJERATI APPLE CHUTNEY

Grind together 3 cloves garlic, 2 green apples, handful green coriander, fresh ginger, chilli (up to 5 green ones), lime juice, salt, and at the end add bit of sugar if needed. Mine didn’t.
